Grisaia no Kajitsu ~ L’oiseau Bleu ~ Chapter 1

L’oisaeu Bleu is now up for those of you who wish to read it.

L’oiseau Bleu is an alternate Grisaia story that recounts events at the academy prior to Yuuji’s appearance and features 4 color pages. The words L’oiseau Bleu, meaning “Blue Bird” and pronounced as L’wezu Bluh, refer to a cubist painting by Jean Metzinger featuring a blue bird affectionately held by one of three women. There also exists a Scarlet Ibis, another type of bird, casually tossed aside at the lower left end of the painting. In the context of this manga, these are most likely symbols of the characters Sakaki Yumiko and Suou Amane, where Yumiko is L’oiseau Bleu and Amane is the Scarlet Ibis. Of course, since I haven’t read that far, I’m only inferring this.
